Summary
Once, when everyone fell silent, asleep and forgotten, there stood one who was burdened with remembering the worst, the evil, and according to her, doomed to suffer and relive everything that went wrong with the world while others faded away. The one who is haunted with the memories of a life once encased two camps, Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter; the memories of happiness, grief, sadness and rage. The one who had to make a life for herself, to make herself forget. An utterly normal life after losing everything she had at an early age, getting a degree, a job in an utterly normal world once everyone has been forgotten and faded, never to be remembered. But the peculiar thing about time is that everything that has been once experienced is eventually revisited, rewritten and relived. However when that is specifically fated to happen, is a phenomenon only the Fates know.
(A musical obsessed oc, Alex (or Alexandria) has a chance to revive the world and the culture she lost when she was only 7 years old. Now, at the age of 25, when she sees the opportunity for a Greco-Roman culture revival, she attempts to control the narrative, meeting her best friends along the way --and inevitably, falling in love with them.)

“So I win,” Shane carefully uttered, his voice perfectly, scarily controlled, staring at his total of 0 points in front of his podium. “By losing. First place means shit. Because what is life if you win everything, right?

Ilya nodded and started. “Second place? You were close enough to matter, but not close enough to get comfortable. Skating a perfect breakaway and hitting the post! Hey, that’s okay! No pressure to pretend you’re perfect!”
“Shane?” Sam called out. “I’m scared but go ahead.”
Shane stared right at the camera, unblinking. His voice was dead serious, and honestly, he sounded emotionally damaged himself, and dead. “Almost winning is just losing with better branding and I think we should stop rewarding emotional damage with metaphors.”
Which sent the entire studio into a hit of laughter and cackles as Shane kept staring at the camera.
