Kya has spent five years in six different Fire Nation prisons and eleven different cells. Kya is, presently, at the Boiling Rock prison, which is muggy and uncomfortable and surrounded by a lake of scalding-hot water. Kya highly suspects they’ve forgotten that she’s supposed to be a waterbender.

There is something so oddly oxymoronic about the phrase dead tired.
Perhaps it would be simpler to call it a paradox. A paradox refers to a contradiction in a logical sentence or phrase. Dead tired. One cannot be tired if they are dead.
Cellbit is dead tired, yet his heart pounds in his ears as his eyes fly open with the terrified memory of something ripped from his throat. Is it an oxymoron or a paradox?
