“What are you playing at, Viktor? And why do you look so damn old, huh? And… How is your hair long again?”
The boy speaks in English, voice heavily accented and spitting out the words one by one.
“Who… What did you do to my—— our son?”
It is not Viktor who answers, but Yuuri standing behind him. His tone is quiet, but borderline aggressive, and completely ignores the stranger’s questions.
“Hah? What do you mean, Katsuki? Hit your head on something recently? As far as I know, you guys don't have a son and unless you did it overnight, you're not married either.”
“I—— What? Do I know you?”
“Oh my god,” The boy throws his hands up in the air in exasperation, “You really have gotten amnesia. I'm Yuri. Yuri Plisetsky. Does that ring any bells? You know, his—”
He points wildly at Viktor.
“—student?”
OR
Yuri is stuck in a parallel universe where he's supposed to be six years old and the son of Viktor Nikiforov and Yuuri Katsuki.
Needless to say, he is not pleased.

He passes portrait after portrait, some posters, some paintings, each and every one of them framed. He doesn’t bother to look at any of them.
(But that’s only because he’s seen them so many times that he knows the one to his right is one of Viktor when he was sixteen, tossing his head back in laughter, long tresses thrown back in a mane of glory, winning his first Grand Prix Final, and the one to his left is a portrait of none other than himself, dolled up in one of his costumes and posing, reluctantly for the painter.)
(He knows that day he had been especially murderous and glared furiously at the painter, but she had just changed up his face into a bright smile, so that it looked nothing like him.)

Summary
It was sunny the day Otabek Altin died.
It shouldn’t have been.
There should have been a hailstorm for a blizzard or even just a light drizzle to reflect the mood of the situation, but no, it had to be sunny.
It was a car accident, he was just driving to the skating rink for his daily practice, the bus hit him while rounding a corner, and that was it. No more Otabek Altin. No more of the renowned figure skater, no more of The Hero of Kazakhstan.
And here’s the tragic part. His wedding was planned to take place in two weeks, in the very rink that he was supposed to make a trip to when the accident occurred.
But he’s dead now. No more wedding, no more skating, no more smiles and “davai”s and thumbs-up.
His fiancée is heartbroken.

But no, Maccabee gave him his hand, and Baitsakhan feels indebted to that, ridiculous, suit-wearing boy. Baitsakhan cannot be indebted to anyone, dead or alive.
If he’s dead, how will Baitsakhan pay him back?
And maybe –– just maybe –– Baitsakhan is starting to warm up to Maccabee, though he would not admit it.

There's curiosity in the voice, curiosity and fear and hatred. The hand on the gun still does not waver. Aisling speaks slowly, in a low voice, a calming voice,
“I am a tourist, a photographer, I got lost and now I'm here.”
A nervous laugh escaped.
“That's a load of bull, there's no point in lying little Player. The question is what line. Minoan, perhaps? Or La Tene? Maybe Nabatean?”
Same voice, but with humour lighting it softly. To her incredulity, Aisling’s first thought was an indignant, little Player? What do you mean little Player? I'm not little! Not getting her priorities straight here.
How did this girl know she was a Player? How did she know what a Player was even? How did she know about Endgame? But Aisling was in no place to ask questions, so she kept her mouth shut. The girl tightened the trigger another 0.09 centimetres,
“Answer the question!”
Gulping, Aisling muttered,
“La Tene.”

Severus's ex is back from out of space and worryingly, it looks like he's going to stay that way. Nevermind, because Severus has moved on, and it's definitely not like that between them anymore anyway.
Unfortunately Severus's ex is Sirius Black, THE Sirius Black, and even more unfortunately Severus's annoying boss Lucius is intent on signing him to their label.
Add in a jealous sort-of-but-not-quite-boyfriend, a smart-mouthed teen, the fact that Severus is well, sort of sleeping with said annoying boss (but only when he's not with his family), and an ex husband who really sometimes seems like he's writing songs about him and you've got a recipe for Severus's life to implode.
He and Lucius have always dreamt of recording their generation's Rumours - it looks like they just might be doing that.
