    Summary

Sakura Haruka knew two things for certain:
    1. He hated packs and all that they stood for. They were either the strong oppressing everyone else, or the weak banding together to appear strong (and then oppressing everyone else).
    2. It was better if the world thought he was a beta.

He didn't see any reason for those truths to change when he came to Furin. His classmates might prove him wrong.

    Summary

Kim Hajin is a failure. There's no two ways to look at that objective truth. It's a truth that resonates through how others look at and ridicule him. It's a truth that echoes infinitely inside his head, compounding and doubling down on his inadequacies. It's a truth, despite the unconditional love of two parents that soothe but cannot dispel those haunting doubts.

Kim Suho is simply perfection. The desperate vessel and ideal of Hajin's "ifs" and wishes. Because Kim Suho, the protagonist of Hajin's novel, is everything Hajin wants to be for his parents and more. But, that story falls apart at the seams the same way Hajin has lost faith in himself.

Yet, as the common narrative dictates, everything begins anew with an innocuous email requesting to remake Hajin's novel.

    ***

Alternatively, the extremes of Korean culture break Kim Hajin into someone who feels much more acutely, and everything shifts to the left.

    Summary

Some nights, Sakura finds himself with a pen and paper, the pen hovering above a well made goodbye letter. Apologies and assurances littering every sentence like he doesn't want the reader to feel bad about his departure.

He reads it. Then rereads it, then again and again and again.

He throws it to a bin inside his closet, landing on a bed of discarded letters he's written in the past. He settles into his futon and awaits for the morning to come, for his friends to make this feelings disappear, for him to feel like himself again.

/or Sakura writes letters and Momijikawa is there with him.

    Summary

“Watching you move is visceral—the way you breathe without living, like a man on death row. You are a corpse pleading with a mouth half-chowed through by maggots, “I am alive—breathing—not dead—please-” and I am the saint by your side running my hands all over you; hanging onto the fleeing warmth from your neck, your hands, your breath like the fading coattails of a winter swallow.”

V short poem I wrote without having yun nor his mum in mind. But I found that it applies quite beautifully, actually :) Might add more chapters eventually, I love writing about sad grieving beautiful people
