Well, as normal as two ex-corpo mercs could be. V was no longer dying, but Johnny had sacrificed himself to Mikoshi to do so, and V had been devastated by the loss. Goro had finally had the sense to abandon Arasaka for the relative freedom of merc work in Night City, but was finding the transition difficult. As such they had became each others support, messaged each other daily, and took walks together whenever they needed to clear their heads without being alone.”
