Summary
Because of Tony's big mouth, he was going to die in a cave in Afghanistan. But then Yinsen is standing over him with glowing red eyes, claiming to be a vampire with the great fucking idea to turn Tony into a vampire to save his life. How could he possibly refuse the opportunity of an endless lifetime of a garlic allergy, blood-sucking, and a painful aversion to the sun?
And just when Tony gets a handle on his powers, he gets saddled with a team of superheroes and has to face an unknown big-bad which forces Tony to reveal himself to his team. And he might be forming a bond with his father figure(?) Yinsen? And he might be falling in love with his teammates? What is his life, even?
(This technically starts during the first Iron Man movie, and skips to the first Avengers movie, more or less.)
