Stiles definitely starts off thinking it’s fucking hilarious that Derek-sourwolf-Hale does crosswords and cares about scuffs on his furniture.
But at a certain point, and he can’t pinpoint exactly when, “fully functional adult couple” somehow becomes a massive fetish of his. Derek in sweats and bare feet, nudging his glasses up his nose while he does the Sunday crossword? Unff. Derek filling out forms to get some renovations on his property approved? Oh God, yes. Derek putting away groceries and bitching that the corner store was out of the right type of Greek yogurt? Take me now, Stiles thinks, worrying at his lower lip with his teeth.

A revealing chat with McKay brings up some unexpected questions for Jack regarding Robby's apparent aversion to touch. Being of a scientific mind, he can't abide by his previous oversight. Naturally the only course of action is to embark on a rigorous, methodical investigation into the matter. For the sake of curiosity, obviously. No other reason.

For years, Wei Wuxian had been visiting Hanguang-jun at Cloud Recesses any time that his travels took him nearby. Or even when he wasn’t nearby. For reasons known only to themselves, the pair of them had been maintaining an unconvincing veneer of friendship around others and, more perplexingly, between themselves.
Until the night hunts. Then, away from Lan Qiren and the cultivation world at large, they indulged. Just a little, nothing scandalous, and always with a layer (however sheer) of plausible deniability. Lan Jingyi was sick of their shit.
As he waited, voices began to reach him, drifting on the evening breeze. Hanguang-jun and Wei Wuxian. They weren’t close yet, and Lan Jingyi could only pick out snatches, just enough to discern the shape of the conversation. A giggle; a low, indulgent Mnn from Hanguang-jun; a breathy Lan-er-gege from Wei Wuxian. Lan Jingyi sighed and dug the toe of his boot into the dirt.
It was going to be a long night.
