It started a few months ago, Viktor had finally beaten cancer, finally felt like he had a shot at life, he thought, foolishly, that he was ready to make a change.
He wanted a child. Something simple, though would have been much simpler had he anyone to give him one. Though there are always resources and he fell to what he thought would be the best method: sperm donation.

He didn’t expect Jayce to have such… similar thoughts.
Although being tied to a bed wasn’t in Viktor’s plans, not like this.

To make ends meet, you fix up old electronics and sell them for rations. One day, during a dig, you find a military grade android still completely intact, minus half a leg. It would go for a lot if you broke him down for the parts.
But…you can't seem to get yourself to destroy him. Even though all he wants is to die. Because this whole time, the android has been sentient, waiting for the day his power supply finally gives out.

This wasn’t how Jayce had imagined it would happen.
In his moments of weakness, late at night, with sleep eluding him and desire pooling in his lower abdomen, he had allowed himself to picture something quite different from this. His mind conjured up scenarios in which they both stumbled into bed, clothes tugged off their bodies, as they laughed between hungry kisses. He had imagined Viktor, flushed and happy, reaching for him with the same feverish lust and need that Jayce felt.
He never imagined him like this.
Viktor sat on the bed, looking incredibly small. His head was bowed in shame, his hair obscuring his eyes. His graceful hands were resting together on his lap, his fingers clasped in supplication. He was trembling, and Jayce didn’t know if it was from nerves or pain—or a terrible combination of both. Jayce wanted to wrap his arms around him and promise that everything would be okay.
That he would fix everything.
That he would save him.
When stigmata blooms across Viktor’s body, Jayce knows he’ll do anything to save him. Even if it means ripping the holiness out of him with his own bare hands.

Summary
Jayce wasn’t sure for long he had been down the pit. The days were blending together into a mess of fevered hallucinations, scribbling on the walls, and crying himself to sleep. He had tried to keep track of time at the start, by drawing a line and crossing them over every fifth day, but there were too many to count now.
He felt on edge, like someone was constantly watching him. Keeping track of him, and it wasn’t only those horrific metal creatures that he could hear crawling around somewhere far above him. No, there was another presence there as well sometimes, at the very edge of his vision, and that’s how he knew he was truly losing it.
Because sometimes, he could swear he felt Viktor’s presence. As if his partner was truly there next to him, not just like a face in the fire he saw from time to time, during his lowest points.
