Summary
Sherlock Holmes once fell in love.
When he was twenty-four, he met Aleksei Pawlikowski, a Polish theology student with epilepsy, and the gentlest heart Sherlock has ever known. They had ten months together before Mycroft Holmes decided his brother was not built for love and tore the two boys apart.
Nearly fifteen years later, Aleksei returns to London, now a renowned Catholic priest. Both have tried and failed to move on from what was the greatest time of their lives.

Summary
“I’ve been having these strange… notions”, Collins swallowed thickly. He leaned his elbows against his knees, broad shoulders hunched; hands clasped as if in prayer. There was a grim set to his brow. “Ever since the incident with the propeller.”
A retelling of the events of the show where Collins seeks help after the diving incident and finds Goodsir in the infirmary the way he had hoped (instead of having to put up with Dr. Stanley). Takes place at an earlier point in the story.
