Summary
Both Byleth and her mother survive thanks to the Archbishop, but Lady Rhea is acting strange. All Byleth's mother can think of is protecting her baby, so she flees the monastery and leaves her life, and her love Jeralt, behind.
Years later, Byleth has been raised on stories of her father: Jeralt the Blade Breaker. When she helps save a group of students who are attacked outside of her village, she is given the opportunity to attend Garreg Mach Monastery as a student- and the father she never knew is one of the teachers.
Her mother has always warned her: "You cannot tell anyone who your father is or you will be taken away from me." But does she take the chance to get to know her dad or does she obey her mother's wishes and stay in the village?

Summary
