    Another bout of mirthless laughter bubbled from his throat. The sound caught in the contour of Hajime’s collarbone, ringing hollow.

    “We all die eventually. I’m not saying it’ll happen today or tomorrow, but nobody knows. That’s why I want to ask,” Nagito insisted, reaching up to caress Hajime’s cheek, “will these memories hurt Hinata-kun?
