Yoonchae giggled and softly clapped her hands together, the mushy cereal squishing between her fingers. She seemed to sense that something wonderful was about to happen.
“Daniela Avanzini, no,” Sophia wanted, slowly standing up from her chair, dropping all her things on the table.
“Daniela Avanzini, yes!” Daniela replied, and then she was running toward Sophia with Yoonchae held out in front of her like a weapon of mass destruction, the baby’s hands reaching out eagerly.
“No, no! Get away from me! Dani, I already have cereal all over my pajamas!”
“More wouldn’t hurt!”
“It would hurt the laundry and my soul.”
“Fuck the laundry! Your soul is already dead by the time you chose to stay with me!”

then, she meets dani, the captivating and painfully straight roommate of her friend manon. but when unspoken desires become physical, and deep-rooted fears come to the surface, they're forced to admit that their arrangement may not be as simple as they had hoped.
