Everyone treated Infected like he was a monster now. They regarded him as something inhumane, a dangerous beast that would bite and maul you if you got too close. The worst part was that they assumed that he was too stupid to understand the way that they were acting towards him, but he really fucking wasn't. He didn't think that he'd done anything to make them behave like this, but then again, he didn't know why everyone kept calling him Kasper either.

He stared into the mirror, captivated by his own appearance. This wasn't him. This wasn't Kasper. Tears blurred his vision. A broken up, disbelieving "what the hell?" was all he could muster. An indescribably intense surge of blind rage rushed through him as he smashed his fist into the glass.
