Summary
All Arthur really wanted was to get away from the citadel for a while. But humor can be taken too far, and there are limits to the abuse a man-- yes, even a servant-- should be forced to accept. When a joke gone sour threatened to destroy a friendship he hadn't realized he'd grown to depend on, Arthur knew it was up to him to make amends, and maybe grow up a little in the process.

Summary
The thing about living in a place like Camelot was that almost all of the people there lived lives completely devoid of magic. When Merlin was actually channelling his power in a place so empty of it, every tiny bit of magic around came alive to him. So when Dragoon touched the prone body of Uther Pendragon, he pulled away almost immediately.
Because there was already magic at work upon the King of Camelot.

Or, in which Merlin successfully saves Uther's life in 4x03, and things play out differently.

Summary
Stiles thought that after they beat the Nogitsune that everything would go back to normal, or as close to normal as it could in Beacon Hills, so like a couple of months of catching up on sleep and homework until they found the next supernatural threat or it found them. Only it didn't quite work out like that. There was the sorrow and relief the first couple of weeks. A haze of memorials, sad smiles and hesitant touches. But those faded after a while. Stiles could see the slight flinches whenever he came too close, the way eyes briefly wandered over him as though looking for a slip up, a first sign of threat until they looked away pretending nothing was amiss. But Stiles could feel it. The cloud of darkness that hung over them all. It was Him. A reminder of all they'd lost, the terror they'd all experienced. Even boxed up and buried, the Nogitsune had won. It had twisted the love he and the pack had had for each other into twisted hate and fear that none of them knew how to eradicate. But Stiles knew what to do. He would do what they always did when faced with a threat, a monster. He would neutralize it. Only this time the monster was him.
