Layton wasn’t technically supposed to use Lumon’s proprietary technology for personal benefits. And the Severance surgery certainly wasn’t something that was supposed to be performed so flippantly.
But he had had one too many drinks with Ruben, his submissive and partner and his masochist with a CNC kink a mile wide, and details had slipped.
Ruben had become obsessed, demanding that Layton let him be Severed because it would be so hot and insanely sexy.
Layton wasn’t convinced.
“Come onnnnnnnnn,” Ruben had begged, cheeks flushed from his drink already even though he was only two cocktails in. He didn’t handle his liquor as well as Layton did, but that was just his genetics. Ruben pawed at Layton’s chest, half on his lap and half off, sloppily trying to undo the buttons so he could nuzzle his face against Layton’s bare chest. “Wouldn’t it be funnnnnn?”

Eden paused mid-drink at the knock on the door.
It wasn’t that it was entirely unexpected, but it did catch him by surprise. He pulled the straw out of his juice box, chewing on it as he pushed himself up off the couch and meandered towards the door.
He undid the latch, cracking it open, and raised his eyebrows at the pleasant surprise.
“Oh, damn,” he said, looking over the shivering naked boy standing on his doorstep. “I didn’t think you’d actually do it.”
