Summary
At fifty-two, Robby’s heats had been winding down for years, growing shorter and weaker until they'd petered out entirely. His body had finally quit making demands, and as far as he was concerned, that chapter was closed.

He always looks nervous. Less so than he used to, definitely, but there is nothing Whitaker’s growing professional confidence can do for his face. He just looks like someone who is about to faint dead away with anxiety at all times, eyes huge and hair waving timidly over his pale forehead.
