In one world, the Control Devil of hell wielded her demonic powers like a bludgeon, killing and brainwashing anyone who got in her way.
In another, the Control Devil of earth learnt from a young age the most absolute from of control.
OR: The story of Chainsaw Man, but the Control Devil is ”nice”.

Summary
