Summary
Stiles is just trying to prevent the next supernatural problem from killing his friends. Derek is just trying to keep his pack alive (and ignore the desperation that crawls under his skin whenever Stiles is near).
When Stiles goes into the preserve to investigate a string of murders, he and Derek are kidnapped by an unknown group and locked in a basement with no escape. Each night brings new suffering, and each day they have only each other.
The two will have to learn how to lean on one another to keep their sanity intact, and they’ll have to work together to escape.
Too bad they annoy the shit out of each other.

Ch 24, v good
Stiles and Derek get kidnapped while Stiles was investigating a series of murders/sacrifices, end up in West Virginia getting experimented on for 40 days, turns out they are True Mates, eventually escaped with some unknown inside help, that place was fucking messed up, the witches were the scientific division, they had a whole fighting ring set up at an old abandoned school as a way to raise money from hunters, they eventually get out and thus begins the (initially very stressful) cross country road trip that culminates with various altercations with hunters back in Beacon Hills and the rotting witch lady who got them kidnapped in the first place, Stiles bonds with the Nemeton after the witches spell "backfires" and goes to Stiles instead, he had like the smallest drop of magic before that -
