Summary
Jeon Jungkook is born from a long line of thieving pirates. Naturally, he follows in his father’s footsteps and takes up the same occupation. Ruthless, brazen, good with a sword, and eager to prove himself to his predecessor, Jungkook sets his sights on his most ambitious pirate venture yet: taking down the elusive Black Dahlia ship and its notorious Captain Jung. Little does he know, he’ll get more than he’s bargained for.
Captain Jung Hoseok is a former aristocrat turned vampire turned pirate. Legends of him have formed for decades, painting a colorful history that enshrouds the truth of his real monstrous nature. Captaining a rotating crew filled with mortals for decades is no easy task, but at least he now has his first mate, Joon, to assist.
When the Prince of Pirates and Crimson Captain clash, their reputations precede them to varying degrees. Yet even Jungkook is surprised to learn the fearsome captain looks barely older than he does. Even more surprising is his crew’s cruel defeat, and being spared by a monstrous creature. Or so he thinks. Jungkook soon learns that being captured by a vampire pirate is a fate worse than death.
