Summary
"From his vantage point on the museum steps, Buck can see Eddie for a little longer than Eddie can see him, and he watches as Eddie scans the crowd. Buck’s heart flutters in his chest, feeling like it's going to explode. He can still go home, he thinks, he can still leave. If he turns around right now, Buck can go home before Eddie even knows he was there. He can pack up his locker at work and leave, just like he did in Pennsylvania and South America. "
After a not-quite-unexpected kiss, Buck and Eddie finally begin their journey as more than friends. However, as the pair get to know each other in a new way, Buck must finally come to terms with and heal from the past he has worked so hard to bury.
A slow-burn fic exploring what it means to fall in love and find happiness after trauma.

Summary
Evan Buckley knows he's screwed up. He knows that getting high every day, drinking the night away, and sleeping with anyone who will look at him twice isn't healthy. But he's alone in LA, his life is going nowhere, and so would there be a reason for him to stop? Even meeting a lost kid at a grocery store who asks for his help shouldn't move the needle on his life choices. But that kid (and his attractive father) stick in his mind and make him wonder what the hell he's doing with his life.
Eddie Diaz is holding on to a thread. He knows that he's doing the best he can, that trying to balance a demanding job as a firefighter, his son's needs who he is always seemingly failing at least according to his ex-wife, his girlfriend who wants to move their relationship to the next level, and his family's expectations is a losing battle. But he shoves it all down, and focuses on taking care of Chris and making sure his son is happy and has all that he needs. He just doesn't expect that a blond with a birthmark over his eye to keep popping up.

Summary
“I’m sorry, I don’t believe we’ve met.” Eddie says, and Buck glances back to look at him because he recognises that sickly sweet tone. His suspicions are confirmed when he catches the wicked glint in his husband’s eyes and he sighs internally. Eddie always was a possessive bastard (in the most affectionate way possible). “I’m Staff Sergeant Eddie Diaz, Buck’s husband.”
The not-so-casual drop of his title, combined with the fact that he’s still dressed in his combat uniform (well, t-shirt and trousers but it’s enough) shouldn’t be as hot as Buck finds it but, hey, he’s a simple man.

Summary
“Eddie!” Nash yells repeatedly. “Eddie! Eddie!”
Eddie feels himself turning bright red.
“Wow,” he says after his name is repeated a good half a dozen more times in a row. “You weren’t kidding, huh?”
“He’s been like this all day,” Maddie says with a grin on her face. She shifts Nash in her arms, pointing over at Eddie as she says, “Look who it is, sweetie. It’s Eddie!”
Nash frowns, looking confused. “Eddie?”
Maddie nods. “Yeah, that’s Eddie!”
“Eddie!” Nash yells, reaching for Buck. “Eddie!”

Summary
“It’s not what it looks like.”
And oh does Eddie hate himself at this particular moment in time, because the look on Buck’s face tells him that not a word he’s just said is believable.
“So, you’re not reading Hotshots fanfiction about Jones railing Sanchez in explicit detail in the middle of your kitchen in broad daylight?” Buck asks, looking highly amused. “Because that’s exactly what this looks like.”
Yes.
Well.
“That’s—that’s just—” Eddie stumbles over his words, before collecting himself. “You can’t possibly know that just from a two second look at the screen.”
