Summary
Chu Wanning hasn't been doing well lately, for some reason. Ever since that time him and Mo Ran had post-argument shower sex, to be exact. Not that the correlation would click in his mind, given that he's on birth control.
Yet, when his health declines more and more, both him and Mo Ran are forced to face the inevitable: the breeding kink isn't just a kink anymore. Chu Wanning is pregnant.
(Well, at least he's not dying, which they had previously thought might be the case!)

Mo Ran and Chu Wanning had sex. Look. This time, it really wasn't Mo Ran's fault - how could he have known that this random hut would have a sex curse inside that'd affect him? He's lucky his shizun offered help to begin with.
...The issue is just that they forgot to use any sort of protection, so now Mo Ran is pregnant, and Chu Wanning is dead for five years, and then, Chu Wanning wakes up and suddenly has a four year old daughter.

Summary
After suffering the common curse of having absolutely filthy university roommates, Astolfo finally manages to move. Sadly, his classmate Noé being an utter buffoon in all of his group projects isn’t exactly helped by moving. And neither does it help that Noé overhears that Astolfo is trans, which means he suddenly knows something he shouldn’t, and also he’s just very nice about it, and oops, Astolfo may or may not be falling in love.
Vanitas, on the other hand, has to grapple with the fact that having a very hot lab partner means that not only do you develop an awful crush on her (and her girlfriend), but also that you may or may not want to be her. Which means that Vanitas is a girl, apparently, which is a really big issue. (And she’s definitely not at all unreasonably upset about it, given her whole fucking family is queer, but hey, let a girl despair.)
Both Astolfo and Vanitas are thus forced to grapple with coming-outs, and also with having fallen in love with the most inconvenient people ever. At least they’re not in love with each other. You truly find comfort in the little things, huh?

Summary
Chu Wanning wants to save others, even if he can’t save himself. But that doesn’t mean others don’t want to save him. His shizun Mo Ran, for example, who found him half-frozen in the snow when he fled from the people he thought wanted to save others but were lying all along. Mo Ran, his mom, and the rest of Sisheng Peak give Chu Wanning a fire and a light and a home, and he thinks he might be able to save himself after all.
And for these people, he’d do anything. Even if it means abandoning that very hope for salvation.
(Even if it means forgetting the sword riding lessons and the clam chowder and even why he can’t bear to take off that red pendant clasped so tightly around his neck.)

The sight was mesmerizing, and in the midst of his staring, Mo Ran realized the game wasn’t the only thing that was hard now.

Mo Ran is the sole caretaker of a seven-year old kid that recently came into his life. He meets Chu Wanning when he takes his son to the doctor. Chu Wanning is a (sexy but) cold pediatrician with very little bedside manner. However, he is good at his job and good with Mo Ran’s kid.
As luck would have it, Chu Wanning is also Mo Ran’s neighbor. Apparently his hobby is taking care of the building's plumbing. Which is convenient, because Mo Ran has a rather large pipe problem...
