In the lull following the battle against Fulwish, Sunday (after a brief lecture from the Trailblazer and co.) is ordered to rest, recover, and most importantly, to not under any circumstances volunteer himself to help assist in the aftermath. Tingyun decides to stay by his side to both ensure that he actually rests and to provide some much needed comfort for a dove still learning how to handle being loved.
Of course, keeping an eye on Sunday does mean she will be sleeping on the Express with him. She can’t help teasing him for his adorable reactions, and it ends up leading to feelings and warmth.
