Summary
This is a new and rewritten version of my "the pain of parting" UzuZen fanfic from 2023!
I've honed my skills 'behind the scenes' over the past three years, and for a long time I wondered how to get back into Ao3. In the end I decided that what better way than to give space and love to the fics that put me here in the first place! (Not that there's many of them, but the few that I have written are very precious to me.)
This can be read as both platonic and romantic, it's really up to you as a reader. Personally, this is something I wrote to simply highlight the deep and beautiful bond that I saw in these two characters as I watched the anime.
Original summary:
tengen almost dies in a recent major fight against demons
he's in a coma for eight months
zenitsu can't handle it
