Summary
Quando o vilarejo em que Chanyeol mora começa a amanhecer com os animais mortos sem uma única gota de sangue, os anciões revivem um ritual antigo onde precisam mandar alguém para que se sacrifique em prol de parar aqueles ataques. O jovem Park acaba sendo o escolhido para carregar o fardo, mas ele não aceita o papel que lhe impõem até chegar ao ponto que sua própria família o abandona. Magoado com a facilidade que seus pais o deixaram partir sem protestar e se sentindo traído por todos da vila, ele decide sumir do mapa e deixar todos acreditarem que estava indo cumprir seu destino. Porém ao se perder na floresta, acaba encontrando um castelo gigante e abandonado, como se todos tivessem sumido às pressas e aquilo o intriga. Desesperado por um pouco de descanso, ele resolve passar a noite na propriedade, embora nem ele mesmo saiba que ao adentrar o lugar, estaria adentrando o covil da criatura e cumprindo seu papel.
