It wasn't as though they were dating - nothing as clear-cut and obvious as that. No, it was just that sometimes, after a particularly fraught case, they wound up fucking. One would find some excuse to go back to the other's office - completing necessary paperwork or returning a piece of evidence, for example - and then suddenly they'd be tearing each others' clothes off. The first time it had happened, Edgeworth had been the instigator, and Phoenix had been shocked but, as it turned out, extremely amenable to the idea. He'd wound up fucking Edgeworth over his desk, knocking a pile of books onto the floor in the process. It had all been over in fifteen minutes, leaving them both stunned and breathless as they tried to clean things up. "This can't happen again," Edgeworth had said primly, and Phoenix had been able to tell right away that he was deluding himself.
Sure enough, it had happened at least half a dozen times since then.

"My movements are precise, methodical," Will said, his face so close to Hannibal's now that his stubble could graze Hannibal's cheek, his hot breath falling onto his flesh like a warm mist. His hand idled at the base, lifting slowly and teasingly. Hannibal placed a hand upon Will's, his breathing becoming broken.
