Summary
One-two-three, one-two-three. She glides across the wooden floor of the hallway in her clean white socks, her steps measured and hasteless, a melody with the rainfall as its tempo playing in her head. Her whole body feels light and unencumbered, still joyous and celebrating a decade of torment having been lifted off her shoulders; the lightness of simply being so unbearably new to her that she is still overwhelmed by it, a whole year after it all ended.
She twirls a little, lifting her hands up into the air, and once the twirl is over — bows to the invisible audience of the backyard, curtsying while holding up the edges of her purple skirt. The shed is visible in the distance, a familiar building that brings her endless comfort; one of the very few places in the world the memories of which don’t make it sting somewhere deeply in her chest.
In which Sakura dances as it rains.

Summary
He sees them in reflections. Here they are, standing above a puddle of water that someone spilled on the town road. It will evaporate and vanish in an hour, maybe two, leaving no indication of its existence — just like the memories Vash holds on to, surreal and traceless, their reality only known to him, through the feeling that possesses him every time he sees a glimpse of what it was and what it will never be.
But still, he sees them in reflections. In that puddle, when he glances down, he can clearly tell — the Vash and Wolfwood from another time are there, smiling at each other with a tenderness this Vash will possibly never even learn. It is from a time that has long passed, and yet that will have never occurred at all. The blonde man’s hair is spikier, the coat — far more complex, bordering on uncomfortable. He likes that other Vash’s glasses — if he finds the same ones here, he will definitely get them. (Again?)
In which Vash sees visions of his other lives.

Summary
“You are like a walking chronicle of your own history,” he blurts out. “Just looking at your scars is enough to understand you, to an extent.”
Something in Vash’s body shifts; it is as if the muscles in his back suddenly got just ever-so-slightly more tense. “In the end, we’ll all become stories,” he suddenly says — his voice distant, as if talking about someone else that he has long let go or forgotten. “Some while we’re still here, like me. Some — long after they’re gone.”
In which Wolfwood can't sleep.

Summary
“It is almost hurtful to hear you say that, Archer. You, I would never betray,” Kotomine grins, his expression somewhere between genuine exhilaration and profound — but well concealed — malice.
“What is this declaration of adoration?” the King asks with a chuckle. “Are you trying to propose? Or maybe to establish a church in my name?” he hangs his legs off the couch, sitting down like a normal person for but a few seconds — a truly rare sight. Then, he gets up off the couch, walks towards the corner of the room where the wine cabinet is, and picks a new bottle up. Kirei lifts an eyebrow — usually he is the one commanded to do so.
In which Kotomine and Gilgamesh have a regular conversation.

Summary
“You’re staring, boss,” he hears from behind his left shoulder, immediately proceeding to sort of jump in his seat in shock. As he turns his head to the left, he sees Kurata standing right behind him, bending forwards just slightly, giving him a side-eye; as he acknowledges her presence, she turns her gaze elsewhere. Taken aback by the scare, it takes him a few seconds to realise that she is staring at his computer screen. “Do you even have a boyfriend?” she then asks, nonchalantly.
Reigen goes through all the stages of grief at once upon hearing that question. “Have your parents never taught you the meaning of privacy?” he asks, exasperated.
In which Reigen gets invited to reunite with his family. They want to meet his partner, too. The catch is that he does not have one.
