Summary
On their way to help establish the new colony on Alpha Centauri, the Wayne family runs into some trouble. But the spaceship crash, harsh climates, predatory species, and killer robots are somehow the least of their concerns.
The real problem is that they only have each other to rely on now, which Dick knows is likely a death sentence.

Summary
At 23, Alec Lightwood is (acting) headmaster of the New York Institute for Gifted Youngsters, field leader of the Shadowhunters, son to two thoroughly disapproving and politically motivated parents, and older brother to three overpowered and frustrating siblings. His duty is to uphold the tenuous balance the Clave maintains with mundane governments around the world, fight superpowered terrorists of various political affiliations, and teach young mutants how to control their powers so that their powers can't control them. He's also a total hypocrite.
And that was before Clary Fray literally blasted into his life and up-ended an already delicate balance.
At 23, Alec Lightwood is doing absolutely fucking fine, thank you very much.
