    But his place in the pack will come at a cost that Wolf does not wish to pay.

The relationship between Wolf's children and Fox is one that is only implied rather than giving any direct exposition or depth in the show Don't Eat the Neighbors. What happened off-screen for Wolf's children to grow accustomed to Fox though?
