Her dad looked over from the stove, “An imaginary friend? Aren’t you a little old for that?” he asked gently.“Honey,” her mom admonished quietly, but Jadzia was fixed on her drawing.
She marked in large lines along Nerys’ nose as her dad set the table. “Well, what's your friend’s name?” he asked, maneuvering plates heavy with breakfast.
“It’s Nerys.”

The ice spreading down Dean’s spine makes him shiver.
