*TRIGGER WARNING* ⚠️- guns are mentioned and used
“Okay,” said Tony slowly. “So. I’m not saying you’re secretly a sleeper agent. But if anyone was, it would be you.”
“I vote we test him for brain chips,” said Bruce.
“I vote,” said Sam, pointing accusingly, “that we stop inviting him to training and start asking him to teach us.”
Peter blushed bright red. “Can I go now?”
“Absolutely not,” said Natasha. “You’re staying and explaining how the hell that was muscle memory.”
Peter just smiled nervously and picked up the sniper rifle.

Summary
Though Bruce had shaped him into a hero, a beacon of justice, and his family had offered him a fragile semblance of belonging, Damian was still his mother’s son.
The violence and anger roiling within him were like roots twisted deep within his soul. There was not a thing that could purge the primal rage and pain that had taken root before his first breath.
When he finally broke through the surface, baptized in blood and weighed down by sins that clung to him like chains, he sought you out with an urgent, almost desperate need.
A heavy thud. Ragged breaths. Then the sound of footsteps.
The same hands that had ruthlessly beat your kidnappers to a pulp—the ones that had pulverized flesh with blood splattered across his knuckles, the ones that had heard the crack of bones beneath his grip, the ones that bore the scars of countless cuts and stabs—now traced your cheek with a featherlight touch.
"Beloved."

Summary
The Bats all think it’s about Jason’s death, and, well, it’s not not about his death. But it’s about a whole lot more than that. It's about how he spent hours numbing himself to the worst of Gotham's atrocities, about how Bruce lies to himself so well that Jason believed it too, about how Damian is getting older and soon another child will join a war they don't understand. It's about how Jason knows the way this story ends, but is powerless to change it.
(The children of Crime Alley all want to be Robin.)

Summary
“Things were difficult by the time I left Habibi, and I’m not sure I could go back. There wouldn’t be a place for me now. Sometimes things change, people change Habibi, and sometimes what used to fit never will again. And that’s ok.” Akhi says, voice soft as he looks at him.
“Do you not miss them?” Damian asks, confused. After everything his mother had said, he’d have thought Akhi would be desperate to reunite with his family.
“Of course I do, Habibi. I think I’ll always miss them, but things have changed. I’m not the person I lost, and I’m sure they’ve changed to. I’ll always love them, Habibi, but you're my family first, okay? It’ll always be me and you”
And, oh, he hadn’t expected that.
Or;
Jason, Damian and a study on grief and how sometimes the only thing you ever truly need, is time.
