Summary
After a dangerous encounter leading towards your own capture and torture, you; Codename "Mirage", went from one of the best snipers on the task force with a bubbly sense of humor and strong wit, to a stone-cold demeanor woman who let her vendetta get the better of her, almost costing her the lives of her teammates. Ghost wasn't too happy about this, and based off experience, he wasn't going to let your mind head down that path any further.

Fanciful stories would flit throughout Hogsmeade by the time the sun was setting, but the important pieces were at least mostly truthful:
One—the newcomer was a witch.
Two—she apparently unloaded a great deal of curious-looking things, including some wildly exotic plants, a large cage containing something much too big to be an ordinary cat, and, most excitingly, dozens and dozens of books.
Three—and this one, which Xenophilius swore he saw with his own eyes, was the most outrageous: after unloading the cart, the witch flicked her little wand and shrank it down to the size of an apple, then stowed it away in a beaded bag on her wrist.

Summary
She endeavors to remain cold as stone and empty her mind of all emotion, but she has never quite succeeded. Mother Superior was right: she is weak. As Isobel unravels under Aylin's hands, Shadowheart shudders and squirms, holding her breath and covering her mouth with a hand as if the moans she hears escape from her. The atmosphere quiets, and she only hears heavy breathing. Her chest tightens, and she struggles not to clench her thighs as her body demands. And suddenly she hears them laughing softly, which is even worse, for her mouth curves into a smile and a pleasurable warmth pours down her throat towards the tips of her toes. There was no way to avoid it, and now her chest is full of longing for their laughter, for laughing with them.
