Summary
Vergil has always had a way with words. He could recite Shakespeare, had a good amount of Poe memorized, and of course always kept with him his favorite collection of Blake's work.
So why, whenever it came to Dante, could he never get across what he wanted to say? Why did his perfectly crafted sentences, verging on poetry, always fall on deaf ears?
Vergil is, if nothing else, devoted to that which he cares about. And there will never be any person or thing he loves more than Dante. After all, obsession is just another word for love, is it not?
His approach to the pursuit of that love, might need a little work though.
Or — Vergil's path to loving Dante was a short one. His path to a relationship took much longer.

Summary
Vergil walked back into Dante’s life the same way he did everything else; without a care for how it might effect anyone but himself. But that also meant Vergil was back, and Dante was prepared to do just about anything to keep him there. Anything, of course, other than ask him to stay.

The only issue is that some of us believe we are telling the truth.
