At eleven, Stolas allowed Hadrian his first unsupervised run in the mortal world to expend his boundless hellhound energy. In England's New Forest, he intervened in a werewolf attack on Daphne Greengrass, sustaining injuries but saving her life. The Greengrass family, mistaking him for a rare magical wolf familiar, performed a blood rite that bound him to Daphne. Months later, he revealed his true anthropomorphic form and infernal heritage, earning acceptance from the neutral pure-blood family. -
