Dan Heng broke the kiss, staring at Blade and breathing heavily. He was more affected than he let on. He was fighting a losing battle. His hands were frozen, stopped at Blade’s waist. Those eyes of his continued to pierce and it felt like the gaze alone could tear him to shreds, not that he wouldn’t mind.
He couldn’t help but to taunt.
“Feeling a little regret, Lunae?”

"Have you ever been dissatisfied with your body?" Blade spares him no more glances, leaving the appraisal up to Dan Heng.
Dan Heng, however, has no urge to peer down at himself. "I try not to dwell. Dissatisfactions can be changed."
Blade huffs a laugh. "Take advantage of that while you can." He regards the healed skin of his forearm, blazing eyes against his cold face. "Don't mistake this for self-pity. I have my own plans. Flesh that refuses to obey shall be punished."
Dan Heng's gaze, too, follows the mangle of Blade's forearm down to his impaired hands. His craftsman's legacy burns bright to this day and that is enough evidence that he's capable of forging with any tool he holds, sword or hammer.
"I trust you so long as you trust yourself."
The comment was weighted with enough intimacy to at last seize Blade's concentration.
Dan Heng visits Blade, who is awaiting his funeral after Fulwish's defeat. He decides that the best way of communicating to Blade about all of his convoluted feelings is to fuck him.

For an instant, Ren thought he heard the excitement in the tone of Yinyue-Jun’s voice and the expression on his face only convinced him that Yinyue-Jun indeed is excited about seeing him in a dress. This is embarrassing. He doesn’t do this for Yinyue-Jun. Okay, maybe he does it for him but it’s only because Elio asked him to. “I was just following Elio’s script...”
Before he knows it, Yinyue-Jun grabs the back of his head and he’s slammed against the wall, his left cheek and chest meeting the flat surface. Yinyue-Jun sneaks his hand to Ren’s body up to his chest, rubbing his erection against him. “Oh, yeah? Really? Come on, now, don’t be shy, you can just admit that this is for me, I like it... Red looks so good on you...”

A year later Dan Heng hasn’t heard a word from Blade since. Desperate to find anything of what happened to him, he would’ve never guess what else he would find.
