  Summary

  The room was dark, his body heavy, straining with the weight of what was lost. It wasn’t only his childhood dreams; it wasn’t only the promises he and Izuku made in high school that would now remain unfulfilled. It was the future, his future. It was his whole life plans cemented on what he now knew were just empty wishes echoed by two naïve kids.

  So, it was only natural for him to mourn the future he thought was already his.

  And God, did that hurt.
