He let out an exhausted sigh as he leaned back, barely managing to hold himself up as the bird’s angry rumbling got farther and farther away. He felt weary, and he tilted his head downward to stare at the floor. He couldn’t help but flinch as he heard more rocks falling, and he cringed slightly, but couldn’t manage to bring himself to care that much about it.
Meanwhile, he heard Friede breathe out a heavy sigh and clap his hands together. His Charizard landed on the ground, flapping its wings and growling lowly in what he guessed was some sort of final threat to the bird.This was horrible.

Despite not wearing her boots, the sound was still loud and echoed around the room. “We’re gonna- we-”Despite not finishing her thought, it was pretty obvious what she was thinking and what they would have to do.

Arven dropped from the tunnel leading into the lab with a slightly harsh exhale, giving a rough cough at the dust that greeted him. He’d have to clean this place up at some point, as much as he wanted to leave it exactly how it’d been left. It’d probably collapse if he left it to waste away and rot, because at least with the robot, it wasn’t totally neglected and abandoned. Now, no one lived here to take care of it. Though, maybe with the AI, it hadn’t been lived in anyways. Maybe it was just a space of occupation and obligation— nowhere close to a home. Maybe it had been like that for years.

He didn’t reply, only hesitating a few seconds before gesturing for Blue to join him in the chair next to him to stare out the window at a particular mountain in the distance.
The hotel they were using wasn’t a fancy one. It was old and quite the average hotel, with two beds, a desk, a TV, a few counters with a microwave and a fridge, and a bathroom. What was unique was that this room had two scratchy chairs next to the window, perfect for staring out and getting a good view of the town. An added bonus was Mt. Silver in the bonus. It even had a little table and a lamp (that was turned off) in between the chairs. A perfect scenario for thinking about what he regretted in life.
