Summary
Katsuki tucked his nose into Izuku's soft green curls, breathing in the scent of his shampoo. The light filtering through the window cast warm sunbeams across Izuku's freckled skin. He looked beautiful. Katsuki wanted to capture this moment in his memory for eternity. He squeezed Izuku a little tighter. For a few minutes neither of them spoke, just soaking up the tender moment between them.
Izuku shifted beneath him, turning to meet Katsuki's gaze. He pursed his lips, a thoughtful expression on his face. “Do you think Recovery Girl can kiss people without using her quirk?"

Summary
The boy straightens up. He’s about half a head shorter than Katsuki, face soft and youthful and sweet. He turns to look at him properly. His dark hair shines in the dying light, basket of blooms looped over one arm and mouth quirked into a tiny half-smile. The sun hits his face and makes his eyes a bright greeny-gold, just like emeralds.
Katsuki likes emeralds.
“Pretty,” he says, reaching out and picking the stranger up around the middle. He’s surprisingly heavy, although Katsuki doesn’t mind. “I like you. Come see my nest.”
The boy hits him.
He’s stronger than he looks, turns out. Katsuki drops him and falls onto his back, pain blooming across his face. Birds sing. The sky’s a lovely shade of orange, clouds floating lazily by. The boy scarpers. He leaves his basket of flowers behind, footsteps thumping on the ground and fading away as he escapes.
The sun sets. Katsuki, lying flat on his back with a bloody nose, decides he’s just fallen in love.

Summary
Izuku is the crown prince of the kingdom of Hinomori, with his mother as the queen, and his birthday grows ever closer as he prepares to take the throne. Tensions are rising. Villages are dealing with poor crops and falling into disrepair. Izuku is working hard to help people, despite the advisors and nobles who want him dead. He isn't doing a great job because after an assassination attempt, Queen Inko orders the military to be by her son's side at all times. That's Katsuki Bakugo, a young but capable soldier who is very stoic compared to the more relaxed royal guards. Katsuki now must follow Izuku everywhere he goes, and he takes his job very seriously. Beginning as a tense and awkward arrangement that neither likes, it slowly becomes a partnership as they try to find out who wants Izuku dead.
Neither is expecting romance to bloom, nor what that will mean for the future of the kingdom. On top of it all? Izuku is magicless, and there are secrets swirling all around.

“Who the hell would think we’re dating?” Katsuki asks as he opens the third drawer of Izuku’s dresser, pulling out the spare uniform he keeps there.
Izuku shrugs, moving aside the framed photo of them as kids as he reaches for his phone. The lock screen lights up, showing a picture of them in their hero costumes that they took a few months back. It's from when they announced they’d be registering as a duo.
They’re grinning at one another in the shot, Katsuki reaching out to tug on the earrings he convinced Izuku to get only days before. A matching set.
“No idea.”
Or; All the times everyone thought Katsuki and Izuku were dating, and the one time Katsuki realized he wished they were.

Summary
Faint crackling electricity, like the fabric of a windbreaker rubbing against itself, covering the sound of shifting rubble and settling dust. It’s a sound Katsuki’s heard a thousand times before, usually preceded with a shout from Deku saying One For All-
“Full Cowling,” Katsuki whispers, staring and grasping for words. “What the fuck.”
Deku is standing near Katsuki’s feet, back bowed forward like Atlas and body lit up with a green so bright it’s incandescent. Blackwhip escapes from his arms in countless tendrils, lightning arcs off his body every second, and there’s a faint tremble running through his legs.
He’s terrifying. He’s beautiful.
He’s holding the fucking building on his shoulders.
