Summary
He puffed in, drawing large breaths into his cheeks before pushing the air out to fog the window with steam. Trembling with excitement, his pudgy finger began to spell out his name. The new child was now sat down raptly on the bed, brows furrowed with the effort of spelling and remembering the boy’s name.
Suddenly, his hazel eyes lit with joy, and his mouth opened to exclaim “Eric” soundlessly through the glass, cheeks shining with barely dried tears.
Eric’s grin dug small divots into his cheeks, and he jutted his thumb into his chest in a triumphant motion, thrilled with the feirce, selfish spark of being seen. He hurriedly gestured for the new boy to do the same, and stood raptly, watching the glass steam as he waited. Swiftly, the new boy’s name began to unfurl itself in a jagged script as 4 letters written in quick succession.
“Kyle.”

He leaned in a little, and Kyle could feel the warmth of him, hear the smug grin in his voice. “Besides,” Cartman murmured, “when else are we gonna get a completely private, fully enclosed space with zero chance of being interrupted?”
Kyle blinked. “We have a bedroom.”
“Yeah, but like—this has adventure energy.”
Kyle raised an eyebrow. “Adventure energy?”
“Yeah. Like, ‘oh no, we’re trapped, what ever shall we do?’ cue slow piano music and tasteful camera angles.”
“Are you quoting a porno scenario right now?”
“I might be,” Cartman said proudly.
Kyle stared at him, utterly bewildered—and maybe a little bit amused. “You’re impossible.”
“And yet,” Cartman purred, shifting to face him fully, “you still chose me.”
Kyle snorted. “I had a moment of weakness.”
“You have those a lot around me.”
