Summary
Boothill tips his head back against the fence post. His hat is … somewhere. Probably still in the IPC mining compound, right there with half his right hand and a couple pints of oil and cooling fluid. His next sigh is wet, speaks to something he can’t fix out here in the sticks. At least it’s pretty, fireflies rising like sparks over the ridge.
There’s a wolf at the edge of the trees, silhouetted against the bleeding sky. The dusky light catches on its eyes, dark with a hunger that has Boothill reaching for his gun with the arm that still works.

Summary
“How could you?” Seokjin instantly accuses, feeling the sting of betrayal acutely behind his ribs, and Yoongi gestures for him to sit. He does not. “Of all the players- you know how I feel about him!”
“Hyung-”
Seokjin doesn’t give him time. “He’s an arrogant, undisciplined, loose cannon who has no respect for the game!”

Summary
“I- do I not make you feel good?” Jungkook blurts, unable to hold Seokjin’s gaze, his cheeks heating under Seokjin’s touch.
“What?”
“I don’t- I know I don’t really know what I’m doing and I’m sorry, I’m trying to figure it out-”
“What are you talking about?” Seokjin cuts in.
“You just- you’re so quiet, I never thought you’d be so quiet but I must not be doing what you like or-” Jungkook babbles, his emotions on the brink of overflow.
“Oh my god JK no- it’s not you,” Seokjin murmurs sweetly, pressing his lips to Jungkook’s forehead. “It’s not you, it’s- it’s me, it’s a me thing.”

Summary
Jungkook expressed himself in the only way he knew how when it came to Seokjin; through headlocks and ever more impressive displays of his budding physical prowess.
Major crush on Seokjin acting up? Pick him up. Push him into a wall. Challenge him to a duel. Anything to alleviate the need for physical contact under the guise of playing.
And it had worked so well, until it didn’t.
