   Summary

   Ever since defeating RDA enemies Mercer, Harding, and Bruno, surviving Sarentu Isla and her kin have continued to work alongside the Resistance in the Western Frontier. When news comes from the east of Toruk Makto’s return to the Omatikaya, Ri’nela suggests that one of the Sarentu travel to offer diplomatic support as Jake reclaims his title of Olo’eyktan. Having never left the Western Frontier before, Isla agrees to be her clan's envoy once again.

   But upon meeting Jake’s son and heir, Neteyam, Isla soon realizes that her inevitable return to the Western Frontier may be more difficult than she originally thought.
