“I need a shiny Snorlax,” Yeonjun admitted. “I already bought Pokémon Shining Pearl. I Googled all the– the strategies, and stuff, so I think I can get one pretty quick. I just need–“
For someone whose voice was so quiet, Taehyun was very good at putting a stop to Yeonjun’s rambling. “Why exactly do you want a shiny Snorlax? If the answer starts with S and ends with oobin I’m going to kill you.”
“You’ve seen his face, Taehyun, come on. You know that face, the one he makes when he really wants something?”
“Yes, I’ve seen his face,” Taehyun said. “There is nothing in particular about that face that would make me feel inclined to go up against odds like one in four thousand ninety-six.”
Yeonjun was too stunned to speak for a moment, but it didn’t seem to matter much. Taehyun steamrollered right over him, ignoring Yeonjun when he stuttered and attempted to defend himself. “You are welcome to borrow my Switch, on one condition– you use that shiny Snorlax to tell Soobin hyung how you feel.”
