Summary
The Ministry of Magic states that The First Wizarding War began in 1970. It was about - as war always is - power. The before and after of it was struck from history books. Students did not learn how He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named came into power, nor did they know that the war was cold before the first attacks began, that the Ministry of Magic was slowly taken over by supporters of the so-called “Dark Sect.” Students did not know that when Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived, defeated the “Dark Lord,” a slew of scared, tired, and foolish ministry officials began to twist history.
You, dear readers, know as any citizen knows that their government is not to be trusted completely. If you were a child, introduced to this world for the first time, would you accept the truths that authority gives you? Or would you search for more?
This is not the story you thought you knew.
