Summary
In the ash and rubble of the various fights around the undercity, there is one constant; a flash of blue hair popping up when you least expect it. The princess of Zaun, Silco’s most trusted, fighting without a cause. Without a purpose.
The days float her by, not even the fights she picks with low level thugs are enough to calm the erratic voices in her mind anymore. It’s all just… too damn boring. Never enough to hold her attention for long. Thankfully there’s a nice change of pace, Jinx’s childhood friend keeps finding new ways to get under her skin.
A huff escapes her mouth as Jinx blows her bangs aside and straightens her stance. At least bickering with the Firelight leader is anything but uninteresting.

“I could get lost in them, you know?” Ekko whispers. “Your eyes.”
Jinx looks up, twisting her neck to meet his gaze, and raises her hand to caress his face. The honest look she finds upon looking at him is terrifying, unearthing a whole new side of desires in her she has tried oh so long to push back.
“You’re silly,” she murmurs, though her smile isn’t leaving. The blush spreading over the bridge of her nose heats up her face, and Ekko flashes her that smile, that wonderful smile, that screams I’ve got you and maybe— just maybe —Jinx finds herself actually believing it.
In which Ekko and Jinx are roommates, completely oblivious to the other’s inner thoughts and feelings— until they aren’t.

Every time, he'd say the same thing: it was a moment of weakness and next time he would deny her.
No matter how many times he tried to wish his will into existence, whenever she'd drop down, gun thrown to the side—he wouldn't. Jinx was sure he couldn't; the same way she couldn't stop herself from scaling the rooftops until she spotted him.
He never sought her out, she never expected him to. When she came, he never turned away.
That was all they needed.
Jinx didn't want Ekko. She didn't want to keep searching for him. She didn't want to crave his touch, she didn't want to need him as badly as she did—it was out of her control. He was the only thing, the only one that made her feel alive.

Ever since their fateful crash in 1996, the Yellowjackets tragedy has captured public fascination like nothing else before or since. As their disappearance and eventual recovery coincided with the growth of the modern internet, an online fandom has always existed, whether in the form of newsgroups, blogs, forums, subreddits, or hashtags. Compiling it all would be impossible, and much of it has been lost to time (particularly since the death of Geocities), but several cataloguing attempts have been made. This is one of them.
