Summary
Another tourney pits Ser Duncan the Tall against Prince Aerion Brightflame. Though contending against one another in games of skill rather than games of brutality, the infamous rivals make a bet with unconventional stakes.
At Storm's End, the hedge knight learns a dragon does not give up his spoils so easily when there is a sordid wager on the line. What he does not realize is that the dragon prince is playing a devious game with Ser Duncan off the tourney field as well.

Summary
Aerion’s grin sharpens. “Good dog.”
“Please,” Dunk gasps, jaw and tongue fighting against the nails digging in. He wants to twist away, wants to press closer, but not as much as he wants to sit and to stay.
Like a good dog.

Summary
“If I break my oath, even for you—” Dunk’s voice cracked. He thought of Ser Arlan’s face. Of Egg’s trust. Of everything he’d built himself to be. “What would that make me?”
“Mine.” Aerion’s fingers slid to the nape of Dunk’s neck, tangling in his hair. “It would make you mine.”
There are two kinds of distance between a common hedge knight and a Targaryen prince: the height that separates them, and the morality that should.

Summary
Aerion Targaryen is England's best scrum-half. He's cocky, he's confident, and he hates Duncan Pennytree.
Duncan Pennytree is Ireland's captain and best lock. He's strong, he's kind, and he loves nothing more than folding people in half on the field—including Aerion Targaryen.
But if Aerion hates Dunk so much, why does he keep calling him?
And why does Dunk always answer?
