    Summary

Their voices are too low for me to hear in the echoing church, so I watch their bodies instead: Mamma pacing, then turning to confront my father with a low hiss as he follows her at too close a distance. I can't even remember their divorce, let alone their marriage, but I can see how they once might have fit together. The way they circle each other is like dancing—not dancing like when Mario puts on a record in the living room and whirls Mamma about, both of them laughing, but more like each already can guess how the other is about to step.

Very loosely inspired by the infamous 2004 Latvian National Opera production, in which Tosca and Scarpia once were married to each other, and Scarpia clearly regrets the divorce. Only taken a step further, because this imagines that Tosca and Scarpia have a kid from their ill-advised marriage.

    Summary

Spindlewood, like most towns of its age, has its traditions. But no practice, custom, or Old Wives Warning is so firmly adhered to as 'The Turning of the Key.' Every year, on the last night of winter, as the first day of spring unfolds, the townsfolk gather to take part in a strange ritual.
They meet in the centre of the town square, where a statue bearing the likeness of a young girl stands, poised and still, one hand raised as if to toast the sky. Constance has stood in the square for as long as any can remember. But she is never more lifelike than tonight.
Spindlewood was also once home to a Clockmaker with a secret - something the simple folk of the town must never discover. Through methods hidden even to himself, the Clockmaker has created something much, much more than a machine.

A novelization of The Clockmaker's Daughter musical.

    Summary

"In penance for their uprising, each of the 12 Districts shall offer up a male and female between the ages of 12 and 18 to a public 'Reaping'. From the very first Hunger Games, all the way up to the 75th, the Capitol has shared with you the most successful stories but have hidden others. The only question is why. What are they trying to hide?

DISCLAIMER: This is a fan-fiction based on Suzan Collins "Hunger Games" series. I do not own this fictional world, and a few of the characters are not mine. HOWEVER, the story line, and the conspiracies of the Capitol are my ideas. Again, this is a fan-fiction so if you want the true story with the most accuracy read Suzan Collins books!
