“Am I supposed to?” Corvo asks. Oh, he is so treacherous, eyes dark and glimmering, he says, “I am not afraid of the ocean, your whales, or the otter black of your eyes.”
And so, the Outsider falls in love with Corvo Attano immediately, the ground crumbling beneath his feet, the green of his eyes threatening to supercede the black.

"Perhaps you'll find another soul to torture,” Corvo teases, “Another tired middle-aged father who is so desperate for your fickle attention."
“There is no one else,” the Outsider replies suddenly, voice fierce. His brow pinches just barely. “There is no other soul like yours. When you’re gone, I’ll wait to find you again, when your soul is reincarnated in a thousand or so years.”
Corvo’s heart is thudding in his ears and the Mark burns hot on his skin, under his wrappings, like it's about to burst into flames.
And then, as though caught being too sentimental, the Outsider’s hands drop slowly from Corvo’s face. He looks away, voice quiet when he says, “Don't die, beloved. It would be so troublesome for me.”
Corvo Attano and the Outsider, in a dance not yet occurred, and so very, very human. Or, the transformation of a lifeless god to a god in human flesh and blood with a living, beating heart.

The planet Zeltros is the galaxy's capital of debauchery, and the city of Praxxa one giant club scene. Unfortunately for General Organa, Praxxa is also the last known whereabouts of Sinjir Rath Velus--Imperial defector turned Rebel ally from near the end of the first war, and a key potential resource going forward in the fight against the First Order.
Black Squadron's mission: go to Praxxa and bring Rath Velus back to D'Qar in one piece, fighting the urge to fall into disaster like they do every time they try to throw so much as a birthday party.
It's far easier said than done.
