Gravity obeyed. Matter complied.
Plop—
He was drowning. Kicking. Thrashing. Screaming until his throat tore raw—but no one heard him. No one came. He was alone.
Structures collapsed. Shockwaves rippled outward, pulverizing what little resistance remained.
He couldn’t breathe. He couldn’t think. His nails scraped until they broke—against the glass, or whatever held him there—and then against his own skin. Neck. Chest. Face.
All that was left was to let Chuuya burn hot enough to break the enemy’s spine. Let him exhaust the excess.
He was trapped.
The cage was shrinking.
