That man was named Cloud Strife and he was now officially the new Don of Wall Market.

Chess: An exchange sacrifice occurs when one player voluntarily gives up a rook for a minor piece. It is often used to destroy the enemy pawn structure, to establish a minor piece on a strong square, to improve one's own pawn structure, or to gain time for development.
Klaus Wulfenbach is back. And he has decided it is high time to put his empire back together, get his son out of the clutches of the Heterodyne girl, and possibly even arrange himself a vacation.
Luckily, there is a simple solution for all three of his problems.

The plot of Girl Genius is a delicate and intricate machine, and I'm sitting here throwing rocks in the gears. Please join me in rarepair hell for the adventures of Miss Agatha Clay as she falls hard for the dashing Jägermonster Jorgi! Watch as Agatha discovers the unique charms of sharklike grins! Laugh as Jorgi explains why Jägers are so irresistable to de vimminz! Despair as certain inevitable plot mechanics roll on without us! Facepalm at irony so thick you could spread it on toast!
An AU that grew legs and ran away with me: What exactly are the implications of a hidden Heterodyne falling hard for a Jäger and refusing to get involved in any stupid love triangles with more politically (and socially, and possibly ethically) appropriate suitors?
