Summary
Link doesn't even blink when he pulls Zelda out of the path of the laser fired by Terrako's corrupted little body. Much less when the light slices open his ribs. He dismisses it, focusing on the small guardian and the battle that awaits them in the Sanctum.
No one notices the wound.
By the time they do, it's too late.
Or
Amidst the roars of victory, Zelda only looks at her knight.

Summary
Jolyon Till was not supposed to talk to the Guardian that has his prince's face. Certainly, he was not supposed to drunkenly trail him out on the Tangled Shore. But when the two of them are attacked by Fallen assassins, they must work together to uncover just who (or perhaps what) wants them dead - and why.

Summary
Rudo let out a weak, frustrated groan, dropping his head back against the stone. Going back inside meant facing the gauntlet of worried looks and questions again, and his burning hands didn't even feel capable of holding a fork right now anyway. The fire in his wrists was pulsing in perfect time with the thumping behind his eyes. He just needed a minute to sit here in the quiet and close his eyes…
“Rudo?”
His eyes snapped open.
For a brief, disoriented second, he almost expected to see Regto standing over him, cool compress in hand.
Instead, Enjin was crouched in front of him, one arm resting on his knee. The older man's sharp eyes were narrowed, taking in the posture, the untouched plate of food, and the heavy sweat dampening Rudo's hair.
OR,
Rudo gets sick. Enjin's there to help.
