Quite frankly, the entire day is a lesson in being careful what you wish for.
In Trent’s defence, though, when he sighs into the dusty air of his failing little bookshop that maybe, just maybe, a bit more foot traffic might be nice, he is hardly anticipating said feet being the length and width of small coffee tables, stained a black so deep he’s certain Anish Kapoor is gearing up to seek legal action at this very moment, and — for want of a better phrase — clawed to absolute buggery.
Roy Kent fights monsters. Trent Crimm's words have always weighed heavier than the sum of their syllables. When a rift between their worlds opens up and suddenly the stuff of legends becomes the stuff of Tuesdays, Trent is fairly certain he didn't sign up for this. But then there's a gigantic beast scaling his feminist literature section, so he reckons he doesn't have much choice.
